Regional Transportation Improvement Plan (RTIP)
Beginning in 2016, OVRDC took on a greater role in the State Transportation Improvement Plan (STIP) development process.
As part of the process, OVRDC collects and reviews information to compile our own Regional Transportation Improvement Plan (RTIP) document specific to the counties we serve. The RTIP outlines the current transportation planning strategy for the region and our regional needs. It also includes a detailed regionally-specific list of projects programmed by ODOT over the next four fiscal years scheduled to be completed in our region. The RTIP also includes a regional priority project list, identifying non-fiscally constrained (unfunded) projects that highlight the unmet transportation improvements in the region.
Documents for prior RTIPs may be viewed on the Archive RTIP page here.
To review and gather feedback on the draft RTIP Plan, a public meeting was held on Tuesday, April 4, 2023 from 4 pm to 6 pm at the OVRDC office at 73 Progress Drive, Waverly, OH. The final plan was approved at the May 25, 2023 Executive Committee meeting and became effective July 1, 2023.
