Test of using a $10/mo vector tiles NodeJS server server to host parcel data for a county wide parcel map. Since the parcel vector tiles are being pushed to the client by the server, there is no size limit on the number of features for the parcel layer, or any other layer. For this map, the entire basemap as well as the parcels are being served as vector tiles by NodeJS. These vector tiles can also be dynamically styled client-side.
The search function is provided by a client-side script and the loading of a json file containing parcel attribute data and a unique key. This could be adapted to NodeJS as well to run server-side for larger counties.
