OVRDC Research & Planning Specialist Internship
Interns at OVRDC can work on a variety of tasks, from GIS data entry to web design to programming. Internships are funded at this time primarily through the RTPO program, so projects and tasks will be centered around transportation issues.
Examples tasks inlcude:
- Updating county-wide GIS databases
- Transforming data into eye-catching and informative graphics
- Creating dynamic web applications
The intern may be assigned an independent project for the duration of their term that aligns with goals of the agency and the intern’s academic program. OVRDC only accepts one internship per year, with applications usually due in the fall. For more information, please contact Kim Reynolds.
