OVRDC uses vector tiles in many of the web maps we publish. This presentation, which will be given at the 2017 Ohio GIS Conference, gives an overview of vector tiles, why you might want to use them in your web maps, and some examples from OVRDC of Mapbox GL JS maps using vector tiles.
